22 from 6: Rad Hourani’s Transformables
By Jake Flanagin, November 15th, 2010
Jordanian designer Rad Hourani, known for his avant-garde aesthetic and mantra of “gender agnosticism,” has released the sixth line in his Unisex Transformable collection. The collection consists of six garments which can be rearranged and customized to produce twenty-two distinct looks – an entire wardrobe for the price of six pieces!
The collection follows Hourani’s established look: severe lines, contrast, solid construction, and of course, stylistic androgyny. The pieces themselves are quite basic, and in that lies the beauty and genius. Each individual garment can be rearranged or transformed to the point where it resembles an entirely new item, so there’s no excuse for wearing the same outfit twice in one week.
The line will be available direct from the Rad Hourani WEBSITE and stockists such as Seven New York.
