2012 marks a year to remember for fans of F. Scott Fitzgerald and The Great Gatsby. The glitz and glamour of the Roaring Twenties, the Golden Age, has been inspiration for the Oscar nominated film, Midnight in Paris, the Spring 2012 runways of Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Thakoon, and Marchesa, and CITYist’s story about Daisy Buchanan inspired looks for the season. However, the most anticipated work of the year would be Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby due for release this December, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire. In response to the demand for F. Scott Fitzgerald’s acclaimed work about the struggle between love and wealth in the Golden Age, Out of Print has created items, ranging from clothing to stationary, priced from $8 to $42, to celebrate the year of The Great Gatsby.
