Bergdorf Goodman’s 111th Anniversary

Since 1901, Bergdorf Goodman has been the epitome of style and class in New York society. To celebrate the iconic store’s 11th Anniversary, its first birthday celebration since 1951, a myriad of products have been produced. Watch the documentary “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s”, directed by Matthew Miele, to learn about famous figures such as Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Kors and others’ thoughts on the legendary store. Also check out the book “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf Goodman’s”, written by Sara James Mnookin, which is an anthology of personal reflections about Bergdorf’s by famous designers, clients and employees. It also includes original sketches by Bergdorf Goodman of the work of designers such as Chanel, Lanvin and Balmain. In addition, major designers created special pieces for the exclusive anniversary collection including ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, handbags, home goods and a fragrance.
