There is now an official reason to be excited for fall. HBO’s upcoming epic series, Boardwalk Empire, has just debuted another, extended preview of the show, which ups the stakes even higher. Taking place in 1920s Atlantic City, the show looks something like an early 20th century take on The Sopranos. There’s girls, booze and a whole lot of organized crime—enough to keep the entire New Jersey resort town in its grips. Steve Buscemi stars as the man in charge of it all, while roles for Omar from The Wire (Michael K. Williams), Michael Pitt and tremendous character actor Michael Shannon look promising.
