Cerre Opens Flagship Store in L.A.

American fashion brand, Cerre, has opened its flagship store in West Hollywood, CA. The 1600 square foot store embodies the duality of the brand by achieving balance between extreme opposites. Akin to the store’s environment, founders and designers Clayton and Flavie Webster, a husband and wife team, draw inspiration for their designs from the cosmic interplay of opposing forces: light and dark, masculine and feminine, and nature and monument as they strive to create pieces that are both timeless and modern.
According to Flavie Webster, “The designs are instinctual, they come from experiences, memories and dreams, it is by blending our unique perceptions of these shared experiences that the ideas form, translating into pieces that accent a women’s feminity while subtly giving her a sense of confidence and strength.”
The new store also houses an on-site atelier allowing Cerre to accommodate the needs of wardrobe and studio service as well as private clients and personal shopping. Some of Cerre’s recent projects have included Dakota Fanning, Eva Green and custom designed clothing and accessories for Rooney Mara and Robin Wright in David Fincher’s Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
The elegant, one-of-a-kind dresses, hand sewn silk kimonos and masterfully constructed leather jackets are all designed, produced and housed at the Cerre atelier creating an experience that is unique and personal.
