Coachella Fashion Preview

With Coachella a mere two days away, we bring you a pocket-sized, last-minute survival guide. No, we’re not talking sunscreen, shades and water bottles (though those things are certainly necessary), but fashion. Everyone knows the trends from the summer festivals are the most important—and though it may not be summer everywhere, we’re pretty certain it’s hot in Indio, California.

Made exclusively for Coachella, the Havaianas/ Ace Hotel flip flop is a sure way to keep your extremities cool and covered in the most versatile flip flop around (the coyote pin is the Palm Springs-based Ace Hotel’s mascot).
Proenza Schouler set the stage for summer cool with their Spring collection. The aquatic theme, featuring lots of tie dye, will fit right in with Coachella’s indie vibe. Barely-there dresses and tops will offer some relief from that scorching sun, too.

For the guys, what better way to jazz up an outfit than with sneakers? These Missoni for Converse chucks feature just the right amount of pattern and splash of color to make a statement.
And for those with more hippie-leaning taste, this colorful CRUMLEY necklace ($225 at Kick Pleat, Austin), perfect for layering, should fit the bill.
