Dean & Deluca Partners With FEED To Create Charitable Totes

I’m sure there are a few of you with self-control who are unfamiliar with this feeling, but, for me, a trip to Dean & Deluca is like entering a war zone directed at my weight and my wallet. The gourmet grocer’s selection of artisan breads, delectable cheeses and divine desserts inevitably leads to overindulgence and slight remorse. Starting September 17, however, a splurge at the Soho-based market will feel slightly less sinful thanks to their partnership with Lauren Bush Lauren’s FEED Projects. The FEED brand, known for using its profits to feed underprivileged people, is creating a special burlap and organic cotton tote filled with Dean & Deluca goodies, the proceeds of which will provide 15 meals to children in need. The FEED 15 bag, which will be sold in Dean & Deluca stores, catalogs and online, will feature the FEED logo on one side and the number “15″ on the other. Considering that FEED has helped donate more than 60 million meals since its conception in 2006, the $120 snack-packed tote feels like the perfect way to justify your next gourmet binge.
