Denim in the Meatpacking District

By Jake Flanagin, November 14th, 2010

The new Levi’s concept store, Levi’s Meatpacking (inspired by the surrounding neighborhood) opened last Thursday, November 11 with a spectacular event headlined by the Vivian Girls. The 4,500 square-foot store includes an in-store concierge and tailor shop.

What makes this particular store special is its stock of unique products, including the Levi’s Vintage Collection (composed of “archival reissues,” such as replicas of 501s that date as far back as 1890) and limited-edition products, including Billykirk wallets, hand-dyed silk bandanas and scarves from Upstate, and collaborative pieces with iconic brands like Filson and Pendleton.

The store is located at 414 West 14th Street and is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
