RUNWAY REPORT: FW 2012 ROBERT GELLER
By Katherine Mateo, February 13th, 2012
For his FW 2012 collection designer Robert Geller drew inspiration from listening to the early 80’s post punk band The Sound. This led him to create a collection that in his eyes is an updated take on the English classic way of dressing. Robert Geller’s signature mix of sports wear and sharp tailoring is definitely represented in his fall/winter collection. The colors chosen for this collection were mostly earth tone colors highlighted by burnt orange and dusty marigold. Robert continues to explore the silhouette that was present in his spring collections for the fall season. Continuing to play with patterns, volume and fit vs. anti fit. We are huge fans of Geller’s and his fall collection is a stand out.
