FNO is here!

We’ve already told you of a few of our Fashion’s Night Out destinations (here, here and here), but we couldn’t resist throwing in a few more. Cause after all, you can’t just hit up one party.
If it’s shopping that you’re after, here’s a few spots offering some sweet goods you can’t score anywhere else. Snag limited edition snakeskin skull bracelets ($195) at Alexander McQueen (417 W. 14th St), Pamela Love’s vintage leather bags ($200-$350) at What Goes Around Comes Around (351 West Broadway) and a Proenza Schouler black leather messenger bag (for an unheard of $225—yes, really!) at Jeffrey (449 W. 14th St.). Oh, and if you have $2,500 to just throw away, Fendi’s offering up limited-edition, signed self-portaits of Karl Lagerfeld.
If you’re looking for a good, old-fashioned party, heed our advice and head to one of the following. On the Men’s Co-op floor at Barneys (660 Madison Ave), watch the designers of Shipley and Halmos, Rag and Bone, Rogan and Burkman Bros duel it out at a ping pong tournament. At Opening Ceremony (1190-1192 West 29th St), last year’s trunk show turns into this year’s fleamarket, with booths maned by Alexander Wang, Band of Outsiders, Rodarte and Joseph Altuzarra. At Balenciaga, Nicolas Ghesquière will be on hand to host Cindy Sherman: Untitled (Balenciaga), which features Sherman as six different characters, all outfitted in Balenciaga, of course. And even though most of the night’s attendance-worthy festivities are happening on the island, In God We Trust (70 Greenpoint Ave) is offering up a pretty good reason to venture into Brooklyn: they’ve teamed up with their barbershop next-door neighbors, Parlour Brooklyn, to offer up old-fashioned straight-razor shaves, as well as tons of drinks, personalized jewelry engravings and even caricatures.
