Happy Fourth of July

By Eva Medoff, July 2nd, 2010

Everyone knows that the Fourth of July is all about the fireworks and the music—and if you’re in Boston, Chicago or The Hamptons, then we’ve got some plans for you.

Boston

Bostonians should head over to historical Beacon Hill and, more specifically, the private rooftop of the Fifteen Beacon Hotel. You’ll get a private viewing of the fireworks from the Esplanade and the sounds of the Boston Pops from its swanky rooftop.

Chicago

Not to be outdone in terms of roof top views, however, is Chicago’s Trump Tower, where you can hang out at rooftop bar The Terrace and gaze at the Navy Pier fireworks. Both Fifteen Beacon and the Trump International are members of the Preferred Hotel group. Be sure to head over to their respective sites to secure your spot.

Montauk

If you’ve left the city behind for seaside festivities in The Hamptons, head over to the Memory Motel (629 Montauk Highway) at 9 p.m. on the Fourth for a concert by The Beets courtesy of Cynthia Rowley. (Well, it will still cost you $15.)
