This season Hermès introduces a new collection silk scarves, available in 3 indigo color variations – Brut, Stone and Super Stone.

The unique dying process gives this collection it’s character and intense indigo color.
For this limited edition collection, Hermès applied the traditional “Indigo-Dying” technique, kept secret by the Bengali Blue Village craftsmen for generations. The natural Indigo dye is recognized both through its mate effect as well as the spotted cloudy aspect of the fabric: each scarf is dyed piece per piece and then put one by one in the Indigo dying bath. The blue color is revealed as soon as it comes in contact with the air. The intensity of the blue color depends on the length of time of the dying process.

The Indigo collection will be available at the Hermès boutique on Stable Row, as well as the flagship store in Manhattan at 691 Madison Avenue.
