Hipster Chic

Throughout the years, there’s been an ebb and flow in the resurgence and fading away of button-down flannels—but rest assured, they’ll always come back in style. American sportswear brand GANT is releasing a limited-edition “Handloom Hugger” madras shirt to coincide with the recent reinstatement of the brand’s more youthful branch, GANT Rugger. Teaming up with blogger Michael Williams from super stylish menswear and lifestyle blog A Continuous Lean, GANT has taken the hipster staple and given it a broader, higher-quality appeal.

The slim-fit shirt is modeled after original GANT Rugger designs from the 1970s, in a light-weight spring cotton produced on Indian looms and featuring all the signature GANT details—such as a chest pocket, back collar button and the “locker loop”—a touch the brand invented.

Here’s the catch: in honor of the year 1973, when GANT Rugger originally launched, there will only be 73 shirts produced. Order one online at the ACL web shop or pick them up at the GANT Fifth Ave flagship for $125. Isn’t everything more desirable in limited-edition?
