J. Crew Falls for Fenton/Fallon
By Meghann Stephenson, April 13th, 2010

J. Crew has always been known for their classic, feminine style. Now they have proven that opposites not only attract, but also mesh with the arrival of the Fenton/Fallon jewelry line. This month, J. Crew suggests you add some edge to your sweater set.
Designer Dana Lorenz first introduced the Fenton Jewelry line in 2005 and launched a second line, Fallon, two years later. Her new eight-piece collection for J. Crew ranges from $95 to $295 (available online and in select stores). Lorenz kept her usual bold chains and studded pyramids but added a girly influence in crystal and bow detailing. The standout item amongst the “gritty-meets-glam” pieces is the Carrington Crystal Bow necklace, which features an oversized crystal focal point attached to a bevy of metallic chains and luscious ribbons. These necklaces and bracelets may not be completely hardcore, but for the average J. Crew girl, they’re downright rebellious.
