John Varvatos hosted yesterday’s launch of the limited edition book, FACES 1969-75, that features text and pictures that chart the band’s history. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and former band members Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones were present to celebrate the launch and autographed copies of the book. Guests were served Gentleman Jack cocktails to add to the rock-n-roll vibe of the reception held at John Varvatos’ Bowery Boutique.

The book lays out FACES’ formation in 1969, their rising rock-star rise, and eventual demise in 1975. Images from rock-n-roll photographers and personal archives depict the high octave lifestyle they lived and played in from chaotic live shows to intimate moments off stage. The books are hard bounded and numbered.
