Leather Japan 2012 at NYFW

As fashion continues to go global, Leather Japan 2012 brought the best Japanese designers and accessory designers together to present several collaborations are Fashion Week. Leather Japan 2012 is organized by the Japan Leather Goods Development Committee, KUIPO (a company well-known for its environmentally-friendly leather called genten) and Japanese Fashion Week. The collaborations included Somarta + Noritaka Tatehana, Aguri Sagimori + Sakaguchi Koshi For Blaze, No,No,Yes! + Le Parrain, and motonari ono. All handbags were made of eco-friendly leather from genten.
