Let’s go get us a Pic-a-nic basket!

Imagine basking in a sunny field in Central Park, sprawled out on a soft gingham blanket, sipping a glass of chilled rosé between nibbles of marinated olives. It could be just a dream, or, you could head to the West Village to the fabulous, eclectic Italian Wine Bar and Kitchen, Zampa

Once you’re there you can choose to stay in the homey, industrial environment and pick from the daily updated menu filled with local, seasonal, sustainably harvested produce, imported and local cheeses, and savory cured meats. Or you can refresh your pallet with one of their artisan, hand-picked wines from some of the world’s most renowned wineries.
Or, you can choose to retire to the field (or couch) of your dreams with a picnic basket filled with delicious goodies, because now you can have Zampa to-go! A significantly classier take on typical take-out, you can enjoy a bottle of wine, 6-9 small plates of your choice, biscotti, a few extra drinks, and you get to keep the blanket and the basket.
So pick up a basket filled with Tuscan delights, wander over to a grassy spot on the Highline, lay down a soft blanket, and just… enjoy.
