RUNWAY REPORT: FW 2012 Libertine
By Erin OKeefe, February 10th, 2012
Fun prevailed at Libertine’s Fall 2012 RTW show. The models closed the show by dancing down the runway. The clothing wasn’t any more serious. Every item was embellished with beads, studs or buttons. It looked as though creative director, Johnson Hartig, seemed to have ripped materials from his grandmother’s living room and splashed his quirky style all over each piece. Jean Michel Cazabat for Libertine created boots pieced together with a cacophony of materials and embellishments. The theme of evening was definitely “more is more” and created a fun, lively collection.
