Meet Mr. Bones

By Maitland Quitmeyer, May 16th, 2012

On May 16th, Kiehl’s is unveiling a public art installation consisting of thirteen custom-designed Mr. Bones, the life-size teaching skeleton and icon of the brand. The thirteen Mr. Bones are designed by thirteen different partners, including Alicia Keys, Padma Lakshmi, and Zach Galifianakis, and will be in display at Kiehl’s stores in New York from June 2-July 14.

$200,000 will be donated to organizations supporting Children, the Environment, and HIV/AIDS causes chosen by each of the partnered designers, and at the end of the year, each Mr. Bones will be auctioned off, with the proceeds donated to each charity.

In Kiehl’s stores, customers who participate in complimentary consultations or who make purchases will be up for prizes including gift cards, products, swag, and consultations with Kiehl’s dermatologist Dr. Adam Geyer. Log on to Twitter and Facebook for a chance to win up to a $1,000 dollar gift card.
