Nine West Launches Channel 9

The oh-so-chic & affordable shoe company, Nine West, has dipped a toe (okay, a whole foot) into the digital age with the launch of their fashion-focused video-centric network that spans across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
Channel 9 currently features an assortment of videos on their microsite for people who want to see behind the scenes, footwear addicts, and the fashion obsessed. From People’s Revolution CEO & Founder Kelly Cutrone’s “You’ve Been Schooled,” to YouTube stars Megan & Liz’s “ShoeFix,” the current videos are absolutely Nine West branded, but do not leave you feeling as if you’d just watched a sales pitch. With informative insight into current fashion trends as well as backstage footage that allows the viewer to experience being at a fashion shoot from the comfort of their home, Channel 9 will engage and entertain even the most jaded fashionista.
Besides Cutrone’s dry wit and Megan & Liz’s bubbly girlishness, Channel 9 will also showcase a collection of videos entitled “Confessions,” which will feature the shoe secrets from various bloggers, celebrities and the fashion elite. Every woman has owned a favorite pair of shoes (or several) that led them down an adventurous path, and “Confessions” will not only share their tales, but allow you to submit your own shoe story.
So get your shoe sagas prepared, and plan to stop by select Nine West stores during Fashion’s Night Out to confess in their video booths. Telling secrets has never been so fun.
