Russian modernism and the works of Ben Nicholson, an abstract painter, inspired Oliver Spencer’s Spring/Summer 2013 mens collection. The basis of each look is very simple and in muted colors except for bold pops of color that are included. Street mixes perfectly with class in the clothes as well as the models. Simple silhouettes are made interesting by adding contrasting colors or retro patterns. His collection is completed with beautifully-crafted leather and suede footwear which juxtaposes nicely with jersey and knitwear apparel.
