Couldn’t get enough of Orla Kiely’s signature classic, colorful prints and feminine silhouettes at Uniqlo? Well, lucky for you the two have announced the launch of their sophomore line after the success of their first collaboration that sold in Uniqlo stores worldwide.
The two seemed to be made for each other. Orla Kiely’s lovely prints matched well with Uniqlo’s attention to quality materials and affordability leading to a success collection. In the bigger scheme, the collaboration demonstrates the unique relationship between Japan and Britain. The amalgamation of British design with a world leader in retail into a globally well received product shows how cross-country and culture collaborations can be successful.
Uniqlo collaborates with many designers throughout the year, so their announcement to renew the partnership is a testament to the ability of Orla Kiely’s patterns and colors to speak to customers across the globe.
