Stay in Style

You know Armani as the luxury Italian fashion house. But now, they’ll be adding another title to their roster: hotel purveyors. The world’s first Armani Hotel will open next month in Dubai—and if one world-first wasn’t enough for you, it will also be opening in the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa Tower. Online bookings for the rooms, such as the Armani Dubai Suite with an eight-seat dining room, private gym and 39th floor view, are already available on the Armani Hotel site. Expect a lot of opulence (this is Dubai), a lot of good service and a lot more to come: the next hotel will open in Milan, followed by properties in Marrakech, Egypt, New York, Tokyo, London and Shanghai.
The Dubai hotel will have a total of 160 guest suites at various sizes and levels, as well as international cuisine (Indian, Mediterranean, Japanese and, naturally, Italian), an Armani/Prive club, a chocolate shop, accessories store and florist. It’s like a whole mini-Armani universe. Looks like Giorgio and business partners Emaar Properties have their work cut out for them.
