Step into Spring with Converse

On May 30th, Converse hosted The City Blooms, an art installation located the Hudson Car Garage. 8,000 multicolored, potted flowers decorated the garage as a way of representing the brand’s Spring 2012 colors for the Chuck Taylor All Star Collection. The public event invited passersby to enter the garage to view the different types of flowers, which included Marigolds, Purple-Blue Petunias, Boston Ferns, Orange and Pink Impatiens, Orange Celosia, Blue Ageratum and Red Wax Begonias. In the evening, the public was able to take home one of the displayed flowers in a branded Converse pot. Converse bounce back and promo cards were included inside select plants, offering one free spot graphic at Converse’s Customization Stations or total purchase discounts. Converse donated remaining plants to various local community gardens. Pictures of the installation can be seen below:
