The GreenShows F/W 2012

With the threat of global warming looming all-too-closely above us, The GreenShows provide a breath of fresh air, literally. The GreenShows are held each year to promote “luxury ethical fashion” to mainstream fashionistas. Their F/W 2012 collection this year was their first ever to be showcased at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The presentation contained a few looks from eight different ethical designers: United Bamboo, Bamboo by United Bamboo, H. Fredriksson, Study NY, The Battalion, Luis Valenzuela, Ajna, Artists & Revolutionaries. Everything from the hair to the jewelry to the shoes was eco-friendly and “green”.

The well-attended presentation hosted guests such as Shalom Harlow, model Coco Rocha, Amanda Hearst and others to bring even more awareness to the cause.
