The Spirit Trifecta—Patrón XO Cafe Dark Cocoa

Coffee to keep you awake, chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth, and tequila to, well, lets just say loosen up. You’ll find all three in the new Patron XO Café Dark Cocoa. Although the combination may sounds a bit daunting, I urge you to try it for yourself. I like it as an after dinner drink, but the smooth taste works well in cocktails as well. Want to impress dinner guests and give them something different? Try my favorite recipe that uses my new favorite spirit.

Cocoa Bomb
1 oz. Patrón Silver
1 oz. Patrón XO Cafe Dark Cocoa
5 raspberries
½ oz. lemon juice
½ oz. agave syrup
Muddle the raspberries, lemon, and agave in shaker. Add Patrón XO Cafe Dark Cocoa, Patrón Silver, and
ice to shaker. Shake and strain into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with Patrón XO Cafe Dark Cocoa foam. (To make the foam, add 1 cup of Patrón XO Cafe Dark Cocoa, 1 cup of egg whites, and 2 oz. of lemon juice
into a whipped cream canister.)
