The Stella and Dot Foundation’s New Charitable Debut
By Liz Smith, July 10th, 2012
After two years of social selling and over $750,000 donated to charity, the Stella & Dot Foundation is selling a new line of wrap bracelets and charms. The global brand works to raise funds and awareness aimed at creating positive change in the lives of women, teens and children through education and economic empowerment. Stella & Dot CEO & Founder, Jessica Herrin created the Stella & Dot Foundation as an extension of the company’s mission in its everyday business — to give women the means to style their own lives. The new Stella & Dot Foundation Bracelets are each Gold or sterling silver plated brass and steel chain braided with signature turquoise or red thread with button closure and available for $39.00 . All net proceeds go to the Stella & Dot Foundation to create positive changes in women’s lives. The current project includes supporting three charity partners; ACCION USA, buildOn and Girls Inc. Through training, resources and ongoing support, ACCION USA empowers low to moderate income women to start and grow their business. buildOn empowers people and transforms lives by partnering after school service programs in the U.S. with communities in developing countries to build schools. Girls Inc. is serving girls in at-risk communities who most need positive, supportive afterschool environments (U.S. & Canada).
