TOMS Shoes will be hosting a Barefoot Walk to celebrate the Fifth annual TOMS Shoes: One Day Without Shoes on April 10. The event aims to raise awareness for children in need and show what an impact a pair of shoes can make on a child who doesn’t have them. All they ask is for people to go barefoot for a day, an hour, or even just a minute for the cause. The walk will meet at Tompkins Square Park on East 10th and Ave A on the baseball field and will start at 9 a.m.
