Showing skin is a summer tradition, but the resurgence of the bombshell body type present on the Spring Summer runways ranged everywhere from bustier dresses to big prints, so why not expand that to swimwear? Dating back to the 30’s when full coverage was all the rage, rocking the retro pinup one pieces or balconet bikini tops paired with high-waisted bottoms can look great on any body type and accentuates the curves of real women. These silhouettes mark the return of voluptuous bodies and full-form sexiness inspired by icons like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor.
