Jenny Bird, a jewelry and handbag designer based in Toronto, is one designer who refuses to believe that the past is no longer a part of our future.  Bird began her own line of handbags, which emulate a vintage feel rarely seen in the current fashion industry, in 2008.  Bird began creating her own line of jewelry in 2009 after becoming inspired by intricate pieces of metalwork, antique chains, vintage knobs and jewelry that she found scattered among flea markets and warehouses in Canada and New York.  Her jewelry is frequently worn by celebrities including, but not limited to, Whitney Port, Kelly Rowland, Carmen Electra and Rachel Ray.
