For the upcoming Spring 2011 Season, it’s important to remain environmentally friendly.  And Levi’s is here to help.  Levi’s Water<Less is a new collection of denim that reduces the amount of water used in the finishing process by an average of 11 gallons per pair.  An average pair of jeans uses around 42 liters of water in the finishing process.

“What’s different about the Water<Less collection is that we’re still using the same materials and techniques to create finishes for our jeans, but we’ve sustainably reduced water’s role in the equation,” says Carl Chiara, Director of Brand Concepts and Special Products of the Levi’s brand.

The Spring line will boast more than 1.5 million pairs of jeans that will save around 16 million liters of water.
