What’s Happening This Week
By Tiffany Yannetta, September 20th, 2010

Have You Heard? is our weekly roundup of items we may have previously missed (or would like to remind you of again). So as you plan the week ahead, take a look at our cherry-picked selections of what’s hot in art, music, film and fashion right now.
Monday
The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s (and CITY favorite) Nick Zinner chats with Katherine Lanpher at the Union Square Barnes & Noble (33 E. 17th St.) about his new photography book, Please Take Me Off the Guest List.
Tuesday
Relive your indie glory days of the 90s and catch Pavement play at the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, through Friday.
Wednesday

Stop by the Ace Hotel for a special pop-up shop, featuring designers like Miss Lonely Hearts and jewelry by Species by the Thousands; 5-8 pm.
Thursday
Rob Pruitt takes over the newly expanded Gavin Brown’s enterprise (as well as neighboring gallery Maccarone) for the second week of his exhibit Pattern and Degradation. And since the show draws on the Amish tradition of Rumspringa, you can bet hysteria ensues—but the above video probably already convinced you of that.
Friday
What’ll it be? Shia LaBeouf and Michael Douglas in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps or James Franco as Allen Ginsberg in Howl?
