What’s Happening This Week
By Tiffany Yannetta, October 11th, 2010

Have You Heard? is our weekly roundup of items we may have previously missed (or would like to remind you of again). So as you plan the week ahead, take a look at our cherry-picked selections of what’s hot in art, music, film and fashion right now.
Monday
John Lennon’s would-be 70th birthday may have been on Saturday, but continue the celebration with Sundance-favorite Nowhere Boy, the tale of Lennon’s early years.
Tuesday

Gant, Gant Rugger and Gant by Michael Bastian: all under one roof and all super cheap, at the Gant Fall/Winter 2010 sample sale (20 W. 55th Street, 11th floor).
Wednesday
Get introduced to the first US collection of Israel-based brand Maison Bellaish at its just-opened flagship in Meatpacking (36 Little West 12th Street). You may be next door to Tory Burch, but it’ll feel more like a dressing parlor in Paris.
Thursday
There’s a new Barneys Co-op on the block (and it’s in Brooklyn!) Check out the new store in Cobble Hill (194 Atlantic Avenue) and don’t forget to say happy birthday—this month, the Co-op turns the ripe old age of 25.
Friday
After just releasing their fourth studio album (and promoting it guerrilla-style), Deerhunter comes to Webster Hall. Start your weekend off a little bit weird.
