ZIMMERMANN STORE NOW OPENING

The city can now get their Aussie style fix. The Australian-based fashion and lifestyle brand, Zimmermann, opened its doors yesterday in Soho continuing their expansion in the US market. Zimmermann is known for their cool ready to wear pieces and chic swim designs that many trendsetters in Australia have been loving for years. The store will offer the complete range of women’s ready to wear, swim and accessories collections.
The label was started as a ready to wear line in 1991 by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmerman. They gradually expanded into swimwear which garnered them a loyal following as they became one of the first brands to meld swimwear with fashion. Flattering, sexy silhouettes and bold colors and prints integrated into their bikinis and one-pieces propelled them to the become the epitome of haute swimwear. Their ready to wear collection allows for a stylish transition from the beach to the streets.
The space invokes the sexy, laid-back attitude of Australia with the vibrant sensibilities of New York City. The palette of the store features a fresh interior decorated in white with splashes of navy blue, emerald green, and neutral tones. This will be the brand’s second US store with the first one located on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles. Next up for them is an extension of their online business through the launch of a dedicated US online store.
The store is located at 87 Mercer Street, between Spring and Broome streets.
