The Exuberance of Bottega Veneta

By Mackenzie Gavel, February 28th, 2011

Yesterday, February 26th, the Bottega Veneta’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection was presented in Milan at 9:30 AM. This particular collection is one of my favorites, with its elegant designs achieved through the tailored appearance of soft shoulders that unwind into a soft A line with a subtle, yet winningly elaborate, color palette that includes jasper, topaz, resina, fire opal, corniola, garnet and rust with occasional dashes of peridot green.

Bottega Veneta Men’s Fall/Winter 2011-2012

By Jake Flanagin, January 16th, 2011

Bottega Veneta’s fall/winter 2011-2012 collection is all about reinvention. The focus is the remaking of traditional menswear items in never before seen ways. With classicism and timelessness having dominated the market in 2010, Bottega Veneta is suredly leading the charge towards the next phase in men’s fashion.

Design Out of Reach

By Eva Medoff, April 19th, 2010

So, world-class innovation, or something you can pick up at your neighborhood Ikea? Take a look and be the judge.

Lofty Designs

By Eva Medoff, March 25th, 2010

For those wary that Japan is surpassing the U.S. in technological rigor (or did long ago), here’s a new frontier to worry about: design. Furniture design, that is. Renowned Italian house Bottega Veneta is hosting a competition amongst the architecture students at the University of Tokyo to create a piece of furniture, and creating a pop up store housing their own signature products while they’re at it.
