Chris Benz’s New York Fashion Week presentation showcased many flirty retro outfits drenched in sequins. From the sparkling backdrop to the sparkling pieces, his collection did not disappoint.

In one episode of Mad Men, Don Draper and his handy ad team come upon the age old question: are you a Jackie or a Marilyn? If you asked the same question to Chris Benz’s Resort 2010 collection, the answer, overwhelming, would be Jackie. Remember the episode when Betty Draper goes to Rome? This is what she was wearing. From cropped 60s jackets to pencil skirts, a palette of creams and sophisticated prints and an early 60s take on boho, the collection could befit your very fashionable grandma—and we mean that in the best of ways. Benz admittedly spent a lot of time sifting through his grandmother’s attic. It paid off.
