CITY Mural

Amazing news: CITY is getting its very own mural over at the intersection of Crosby and Broome in Soho. Don’t let your eyes fool you, this isn’t an ad for Bushmills. If you squint, you can make out the lines spelling out CITY (hey, these pics are from yesterday, and it was only day two). Advertisement in the form of art? Sounds good to us. We’ll keep you posted on the progress (and look for more photos after the jump).
Tequila Sunrise

It’s going to be a hot one on Thursday in NYC—so there’s no better time to dip into some of Tanteo tequila’s fresh summery cocktails. Mixologist Jason Mendenhall has designed an extensive range of refreshing drinks using each of Tanteo’s distinct spirits—Jalapeño, Tropical, and Chocolate (yes, chocolate!) tequilas. Here’s our favorite recipe, but for more ideas click here.
Watermelon Tanteador
2 oz. | Tanteo® Jalapeño Tequila
1 oz. | Watermelon Juice
1/2 oz. | Simple Syrup
1/2 oz. | Fresh Lime Juice
3 Fresh Cilantro Leaves
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice
Shake well and strain into chilled Champagne coupe glass
Garnish with a sprig of cilantro [ . . . ]

Join us for mind-bending art, free-flowing cocktails and stunning views of downtown Manhattan this Wednesday night at “Collective Dreams,” an art exhibit exploring the dream state. Featuring works from Sonya Kypreos, Patrick de Warren, Lorin Crosby and Deborah Altizio, the exhibit is brought to you by CITY and other patrons of the arts. We’ll be there—so come on down to Ports 1961’s Meatpacking boutique to say hello (more details after the jump). Did we mention the first 100 guests get gift bags? Start lining up.
