The restaurant I’ll be dashing to after long days of hopping around New York Fashion Week (especially from shows at Milk Studios, just a couple blocks away) is the recently opened Tanuki Tavern. Located in prime Meatpacking District, I’ve already become taken by its endearing decor and twist on a traditional Japanese izakaya. The easy to share-sized plates offer a little something for everyone (the kimchi fried rice was my favorite) and the prices are surprisingly diminutive.
