A Night With Lisa Perry and PAN AM
By Rebekah Meiser, September 7th, 2011
Designer Lisa Perry is known for her charming, retro fashions, so her collaboration with ABC’s new series PAN AM for FNO fits like a tailored, blue pencil skirt. The 60s-themed show serves as inspiration for both the invitation (which appropriately reads like an old-fashioned plane ticket) and the goodie bag as well: a vintage-styled PAN AM explorer purse, which will be gifted to the first 50 people who arrive. A few members of the cast will be joining the celebration as well, including star Christina Ricci, leaving more for attendees to check out than Perry’s vibrant fall collection.
A Truly Jean-ious Event
By Rebekah Meiser, September 7th, 2011
Unless you’ve been holed up in your apartment for the past few weeks fearing a return of the hurricane, you’ve probably noticed every bus, flier, and store window (not to mention, website) advertising Thursday’s Fashion’s Night Out. You’ve also probably noticed that each event looks stellar. If you have a love affair with jeans, add True Religion’s FNO event to your itinerary. Pick up a new pair of pants and personalize them with screen printing while listening to music by DJ Elle Dee and noshing on food from Silkstone.

Such a Jewel
By Renee Lucas, September 17th, 2010
Our favorite Istanbul-based jeweler Gilan saluted the Couture Council of The Museum at FIT during last week’s Fashion’s Night Out at Gilan’s 5th Avenue store. The party was hosted by The Museum at FIT’s Chief Curator & Director Valerie Steele, Somers Farkas, Gillian Hearst Simonds, and couturier Maggie Norris and featured paintings and illustrations of Gilan Jewelry from premiere contemporary artists Anna Kiper, Audrey Schilt and Nelson Shanks, as well as couture designs and jewelry worn by stunning models including Miss Massachusetts 2009 Alison Cronin, actress Sarah Bradford, and Princess Keisha Omilana. The featured artwork will be on display in the Gilan store and 10 percent of the proceeds from all jewelry purchases will be donated to the Couture Council through next week. FNO Roundup
By Tiffany Yannetta, September 13th, 2010
If you missed any of the excitement (or the madness) from this year’s FNO, we’ve got you covered. Take a peek after the cut of some of the night’s highlights from this year, like Naomi Campbell’s 14 dopplelgangers at Dolce&Gabbana, the bombshells at Victoria’s Secret, celebs at Dior, Ralph Lauren and DKNY, and oh yea—the showering Lacrosse players Gant featured in its windows.
The British Are Coming
By Tiffany Yannetta, September 10th, 2010
Fashion’s Night Out may have began as a New York phenomenon, but by now it’s global. Tonight at Intermix in Soho, both sides of the pond will collide as co-hosts Byrdie Bell and London’s favorite Daisy Lowe help Intermix to unveil to the US the J Brand 5X5 collection: a series of five limited-edition jeans, designed by Christopher Kane, Erdem, Richard Nicoll, Peter Pilotto and Meadham Kirchhoff. Shoppers can also snag a J Brand cosmetics bag, as well as a $50 Intermix gift card when you purchase the jeans—now that’s a pretty sweet deal.

Phillip Lim for FNO
By Eva Medoff, August 30th, 2010
Every day, more amazing, sartorially star-studded events for Fashion’s Night Out on September 10th keep cropping up. We reviewed a selection of the night’s hot events before, but we managed to overlook the total genius of the 3.1 Phillip Lim and Rag & Bone block party. The two will be taking over Mercer Street with music by Matt Creed, burgers by BLT Go truck and ice cream by Van Leeuwen. Inside the store, My Gold Mask will offer the musical stylings, while Phillip Lim will also be on hand to offer the fashion stylings.
FNO’s Best Parties
By Eva Medoff, August 16th, 2010
Fashion’s Night Out is basically Christmas for fashionistas. And while it would be convenient to clone yourself so you can stop at all the booze and SWAG-filled events, the sheer impossibility of such a scenario makes time management key. Here, we highlight some of the best stops, including “healthy” cocktails, excellent tunes and chances to rub shoulders with super models.
