Louis Vuitton has launched louisvuitton-histoires.com, it’s latest online content dedicated to travel. The innovated site tells the story of the House from its beginning to current 2013 collection.

Louis Vuitton has opened a Maison near the Piazza San Marco in Venice. The new Maison will feature a wide range of the brand’s leather goods, ready-to-wear and travel pieces, as well as a cultural space. The Espace Louis Vuitton Venice is the first in Italy and sixth in the world.

Marc Jacobs drew on his Orient-inspired vision to create a spectacular image of “bad girls” with glossy hair and makeup surrounded by Seventies-influenced décor. Summer is upon us, and Louis Vuitton has set the tone: psychedelic colors, playful accessories and pop art mania. In two words: Cosmic Blossom. The new line of handbags, bikinis, shoes, ready-to-wear and more is spearheaded by Takashi Murakami, the Japanese artist responsible for the hugely popular reinterpretations of the classic Louis Vuitton monogram bag (such as the Monogram Multicolore). Murakami has applied his sunny sensibility to the new line, and the result is akin to sucking down a pixie stick: flowers in shades of lavender, bubblegum pink, yellow and and teal, technicolor beach cover-ups and Barbie-worthy platforms.
