Nearly a decade in the making, Cavalia is at once both heartwarming and heart-stopping, a tale of the evolution of the relationship between man and horse born from the mind of Cirque du Soleil co-founder, Norman Latourelle. The fantastical nature of Cavalia comes to the forefront as the horses gambol and gallop about the stage, at times entirely unrestrained, while performers execute breathtaking stunts whose success depends utterly on the horses’ whim.
