The Pantone Color Institute named tangerine the “it” color of 2012 and the juicy shade is the perfect way to say hello to spring. The color is a bright orange with red undertones which translates beautifully into both clothing and accessories. Wear it from head to toe as a bold statement or just try a tangerine accessory for a bright pop of color.

The Oscars of fashion, the Met’s Costume Institute Gala, has finally arrived and with it, surprisingly, countless gowns designed for Gap. Said designers included CITY favorite Thakoon (who outfitted Kerry Washington), Rodarte (Kirsten Dunst, model Jamie Bochert), Alexander Wang (M.I.A. and Zoe Kravitz) and Sophie Theallet ( Jessica Alba and Vera Farmiga). Alexa Chung showed up in a tuxedo on the arm of Phillip Lim. Also in attendance was former CITY cover girl Riley Keough, wearing Thakoon’s romantic “conceptual frill” gown.
