Vibrancy Meets Modernity
By Mackenzie Gavel, February 9th, 2011
I know it’s cold, and with these blustering city winds, I realize that it’s hard to imagine that it will ever be warm again. But it will. And soon. Yet, even with the warmth, there will still be those windy days when it’s important to maintain your carefree, sun-soaked attitude, while maintaining your health and sanity. YARNZ, a contemporary accessory line known for its large, printed scarves, is here to be of assistance with its jubilant display of vibrant florals and animal prints this Spring.

[BLANKNYC] prides itself on being a denim line that will never exceed the $100 price limit, while still designing impeccable creations that are sure to leave their wearers feeling both comfortable and chic in their ensembles.
Splash into Spring

Spring, warm weather, sunny skies, blooming flowers… it’s all fast approaching, thankfully. And when it arrives, and us CITYists no longer have to drudge our Hunter Boots through piles of mushy, gray as we attempt to swim our way through the streets of this city, we should all revive our feet and souls with a splash of color. And that’s where Børn comes in. The sneakers, style name Kai, are available in an array of subdued, yet cheery hues sure to brighten up any girl’s day as she prepares for the months ahead.

The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 advertising campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel, features three shimmering models, all emblazoned in an array of bold colors and sparkling textures of clothing. Marc Jacobs drew on his Orient-inspired vision to create a spectacular image of “bad girls” with glossy hair and makeup surrounded by Seventies-influenced décor. A true vision, the campaign will be featured across magazines worldwide in February 2011.

Well, not Gabby Applegate. She’s already established, and she’s already incredible. In only her second season, she has already stepped out of her shell and into the world of elegance and poise with her flawlessly sophisticated and classy designs. A peak into her Spring Lookbook offers a glimpse into a daring, atmospheric level of modernity and chicness in her line’s distinct styles.
