Chill Out, Thread Social Has You Covered
By Mackenzie Gavel, March 3rd, 2011
With these bitter cold temperatures that New York City is facing yet again, the only thing on my mind lately has been summer. Just picture it for a minute–relaxing by the pool, your only concern being whether or not you should start to get ready for the cocktail party now or let yourself tan for a few more minutes. Well, this summer, you can bask in the rays for that extra time, because Thread Social already has your summer dresses covered.
Mischievous Girls, Breathtaking Fashion
By Mackenzie Gavel, January 15th, 2011
The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 advertising campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel, features three shimmering models, all emblazoned in an array of bold colors and sparkling textures of clothing. Marc Jacobs drew on his Orient-inspired vision to create a spectacular image of “bad girls” with glossy hair and makeup surrounded by Seventies-influenced décor. A true vision, the campaign will be featured across magazines worldwide in February 2011.
What Lies Beneath the Brim
By Mackenzie Gavel, January 14th, 2011
One more month—if we just make it through one more month, then it’s practically spring; and, then, it’s practically summer, and we’ll be sitting on a beach lounging by the water’s edge… practically. But, as we lounge in our bikinis, sipping our ice-cold lemonades, we should also be protecting ourselves from the sun, and we might as well look chic while we do it. ZINGARA’s 2011 collection of hats is just the accessory that every girl needs in these much-anticipated upcoming months of warmth and happiness.
Stunning, Carefree, Beautiful People
By Mackenzie Gavel, January 11th, 2011
Summertime means carefree adventures where nothing can weigh us down, including our handbags. Beautiful People’s summer line of carryalls feature light, chic styles that boast a rustic, tuscan feel with hues of camel, pebble and tangerine. The oversized clutches are perfect for a late evening affair in the city, while the chain-link cross-body clutches intertwine a feel of sporty edginess with an irresistible, understated elegance to create the perfect flair to any girl’s light summer wardrobe. The bags range in price from $200 to $500. They can be purchased in U.S. specialty boutiques and are also available for phone purchases.
