For their Fall ‘13 collection, Alan Eckstein and Timo Weiland showed that a small twist on the classics makes for a wearable yet unique look. See how they took basics to the next level after the jump.

On Saturday, February 12th, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Timo Weiland showcased his Fall 2011 Men and Women’s Presentation at The Box in the Lincoln Center Tents during New York’s Fashion Week. Celebrity guests included Gabe Saporta (the lead singer of Cobra Starship), actor Connor Paulo of Gossip Girl and actress Dalai Bruchmann.

Sample sales at Parlor showroom, home of some of our favorite indie fashion brands such as Samantha Pleet (see yesterday’s post), trend setters Timo Weiland and southern belle style from Lorrick, are more of a party than any sample sale we’ve ever seen. This evening, the designers from Timo Weiland will be DJing the sale (dance party anyone?) and passing round margaritas (which, frankly, is all we’re thinking about on this hot Friday afternoon). As for Ms. Pleet: not only does she design delightful daywear, she also bakes.
