Odd Molly Signs Charlotte Kemp Muhl for Their Spring/Summer 2012 Campaign

Odd Molly, best known for their comfortable yet feminine clothes, have just signed the extremely feminine Charlotte Kemp Muhl as the face of their Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. Creative Director Per Holknekt remarked on Muhl joining the Odd Molly team “She liked working with us and our clothing already at fashion week when she and her boyfriend Sean Lennon performed at our show.”

If last season’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection was an indication of the creativity and quality of design, there’s no doubt that the SS 2012 collection will blow even the most hardened of critics away with the addition of the ethereal Muhl. The Odd Molly AW 2011 collection celebrated the different cultural trends around the globe, with a strong focus on South America.

By using and mixing different fabrics, trims, and embroideries, Odd Molly incorporates touches of international trends, without making it obvious. Further evidence of the collection’s South American inspiration is shown in the touch of special details; particularly crochet, lace, folk embroidery and fringe. Patchwork and paisley designs, combined with rich textures like velvet and jacquard give the collection a multi-dimensional and multi-cultural style, evoking feelings of a seasoned traveler.
