Parsons Launches Thesis Site

Although clicking through the latest runway shows could keep us drooling on our keyboards until next season, on occasion we long for a dose of undiscovered talent. To keep tabs on those rising design stars who haven’t made it to the main catwalk walk yet, Parsons The New School for Design is showcasing a variety of its graduates’ thesis and capstone projects in a sleek and informative new web site. Offering the option to view the selected works by discipline and school, the web site is a solid source of sartorial inspiration. We’re mesmerized by Tanni Xu’s kaleidoscopic fall/winter womenswear collection and simply stoked by Katty Hoelck’s earthy fabrics patterned with photographs of planes and wildfire smoke. If only we could have had them for dorm mates…
