She Wants You Downtown– from Behind

Upon hearing of “Downtown from Behind,” many thoughts surface about what it might be. While sounding a tiny bit on the scandalous side it’s actually not, unless a penchant borderlining a full-fledged fetish for people on bikes in NYC gets you all hot and bothered. Downtown from Behind is the latest project by photographer Bridget Fleming, showcasing a truly eclectic mix of NYC people and their backsides, while on their wheels. The subjects are people who have an impact in their respective neighborhoods, ranging from musicians, chefs, hoteliers, architects, stylists, decorators, and artists. While the subject’s faces are hidden, a story is still told by the environment, and what each cyclist has in tow.

Environmentally conscience as well, Downtown From Behind has partnered with Little Ambitious, who lends support to young inventors and designers using sustainable processes to help encourage “green awareness through cycling.” Just when we thought that every single idea has been thought of and blogged about, Fleming proves us wrong with this delightfully creative, very New York destination on the internet.
